Stop Error 0×0000007E or Continuous Rebooting After Installing Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Uh oh, you’ve done it now… Time to reformat you computer and start from scratch. Ok, no, there’s a rather simple work around that should solve this little issue.
How do I identify this problem?
After rebooting your computer after finishing the installation of the Windows XP Service Pack 3 Update, you can identify this problem by your computer displaying a BSOD Stop error, then rebooting on its own. This process will continue until you either turn off the computer or boot into Safe Mode.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)

After almost 4 years since Service Pack 2, Microsoft finally released Service Pack 3 for Windows XP.
On April 29, 2008 Microsoft released Windows XP Service Pack 3. This will likely be the final service pack since Microsoft stopped selling Windows XP on June 30, 2008. As of this writing you can still buy it in stores (until their stock runs out), so if you have any interest in upgrading from earlier versions of Microsoft Windows and aren’t a fan of the new Microsoft Vista you may want to get on it and do so before it’s too late.
Why Update to Service Pack 3 and What Is It?
